As president, U.S. Beauty for Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc., Michelle Freyre is responsible for the company’s high-profile portfolio of beauty brands, including Neutrogena, Aveeno, Clear & Clear, Lubriderm, Le Petit Marseillais and Rogaine. Freyre began her career with Johnson & Johnson in 1999 as a brand manager for Neutrogena. She most recently served as general manager of Neutrogena and leader of the company’s Los Angeles campus. Under her leadership, Neutrogena maintained its position as the number-one facial care brand, cleansing brand and acne brand. Freyre was the recipient of a 2016 CEW Achiever Award from Cosmetic Executive Women in recognition for her outstanding contributions to the beauty industry, and most recently, was recognized as one of the Top 10 2016 Latina Corporate Executives of the Year by LATINA Style Magazine for her corporate leadership, mentorship, business impact and dedication to working with the community. Freyre holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.
