Carolyn Tastad leads Procter & Gamble's $29 billion business in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The North America market is the company’s largest and most profitable, representing 44 percent of the company’s total revenues and an even greater percentage of profit. Tastad has experience across P&G's broad portfolio of brands and has held a variety of positions with national, regional and multi-national responsibilities working in Canada, the United States and Europe. She previously served as Global Sales Officer, responsible for leading P&G’s selling organization across all sectors and all regions. She serves as executive sponsor of P&G's gender equality efforts, a signature platform of P&G's citizenship agenda that aims to build a better world, free from gender bias. She also chairs P&G's corporate Women’s Leadership Team, which is focused on creating an inclusive culture where women can be successful. Tastad was named to Fortune's list of Most Powerful Women in 2015 and 2016. She serves on the boards of the Kellogg Company, Grocery Manufacturers Association and Cincinnati Museum Center. She holds a business degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
